Peel Day at the TT

2 June @ 09:00 - 17:00
On Monday 2nd June we are holding a “Ride In” to Peel Day with a judged “Best Bikes on the Day” competition, with many class awards, sponsored by Kestrel Insurance.  There will also be free lunch tickets available for participants, served at the Peel Sailing and Cruising Club courtesy of Peel Commissioners and our friend Bob Taylor of “Wobbly Bob Racing” and the Leece Museum ‘bike display.  Bob is also organising a “Make Some Noise” fire up of racing machines during the day outside the Sailing Club.
The arrangements are as follows:
Members meet at St James Church, Dalby.  The ladies at Dalby will be selling refreshments from 9.00am; the usual bacon baps, tea, coffee and cakes will be available plus car boot type stalls.  Please sign on at Dalby so we know who owns which bike when we’re judging at Peel.
At 12.00 prompt we leave Dalby in convoy to ride into Peel.  Please note we will be negotiating closed roads in Peel so we must stick together to our designated parking area on the Prom between Crown Street and the Marine. This is where the judging will take place. Lunch is available by ticket only, available from VMCC committee members. Helmets, coats etc may be left in the ground floor room at the Sailing Club.
Please note that Monday 2nd June is an activated contingency day where TT Course roads will be closed between 10.00 to 17.00hrs and 18.00 and 21.30hrs.
This VMCC event will take place regardless of any road closures. John Holt
